Harvey B. Hirschhorn serves as managing director and chief portfolio strategist for the Investment Strategies Group, overseeing the development and implementation of tactical and strategic asset allocation strategies. In this role he evaluates the current and expected market environments and determines their potential impact on investment portfolios. Mr. Hirschhorn is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Investment Analyst Society of Boston and a frequent guest of various financial news outlets, including CNBC, CNN and Bloomberg Television. Mr. Hirschhorn is based in Boston.
Joseph P. Quinlan, Chief Market Strategist
Joseph Quinlan serves as managing director and chief market strategist for the Investment Strategies Group. Mr. Quinlan oversees the development, implementation, and communication of the bank’s overall investment strategy. Mr. Quinlan lectures on finance at New York University, where he has been a faculty member since 1992, and is currently a fellow at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, a senior fellow at the German Marshal Fund in Brussels and a fellow on U.S.-Asian Affairs at the Pacific Council on International Policy. He has published more than 125 articles on economics, trade and finance, and appeared in such publications as Foreign Affairs, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. He also makes regular appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg Television and PBS. Mr. Quinlan is based in New York.
Lynn Reaser, Ph.D., Chief Economist
Lynn Reaser, Ph.D., serves as managing director and chief economist for the Investment Strategies Group. In this role Dr. Reaser is responsible for tracking and forecasting economic trends and evaluating their effects on financial markets. She follows international, national and regional developments and plays a key role in shaping the bank’s Investment Strategy. She served in a number of government advisory positions and chaired the American Bankers Association’s Economic Advisory Council. Dr. Reaser is based in Boston.
